# Connect to CreatorRM and run a content-production job

CreatorRM is an agentic content + CRM platform. Its capabilities are exposed to
agents over the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This skill takes an agent from
zero to running a real content job.

## 1. Discover the server

Fetch the server card — it names the MCP endpoint, the transport, and where to
authenticate:

```
GET https://mcp.creatorrm.app/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json
```

## 2. Authenticate (OAuth 2.1)

CreatorRM supports Dynamic Client Registration + PKCE, so no pre-shared keys are
needed.

1. Read `GET https://mcp.creatorrm.app/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server`.
2. Register a client: `POST /register` with `client_name` + `redirect_uris`.
3. Send the user to `/authorize` (PKCE `S256`) requesting the scopes you need —
   for content work: `content:read content:write`.
4. Exchange the authorization code at `/token` for an access token.

Read-only scopes are auto-consented; write scopes require a one-time approval by
the workspace owner. If a request returns `401`, read the
`WWW-Authenticate: Bearer resource_metadata=...` header to (re)discover the
authorization server.

## 3. Open an MCP session

```
POST https://mcp.creatorrm.app/mcp
Authorization: Bearer <access_token>
Accept: application/json, text/event-stream
```

Send `initialize`, then `tools/list`. The server card lists an approximate tool
count; `tools/list` is the authoritative, live set.

## 4. Run a content job

Pick a content session, then call a production tool. Common ones:

- `list_content_sessions` — find a session to work on.
- `generate_hooks` — draft scroll-stopping opening hooks.
- `suggest_clips` — propose short-form clips from a long recording.
- `generate_captions` — produce platform-ready captions.
- `generate_blog` — turn a transcript into a blog post.

Every tool is workspace-scoped and re-checks your token's scopes server-side, so
request only the scopes you need.

## Notes

- The REST API (non-MCP) is catalogued at
  https://creatorrm.com/.well-known/api-catalog (OpenAPI spec linked from there).
- Be a good citizen: honor the retry hints returned on `429` responses.
